Minutes of July 24, 2017
The meeting opened at 10:10 am. L. Hebert, K. Purcell, J. Rodriguez, N. Champigny and R. Champigny were present.
Discussions
Don Clawson came in and talked about his wireless internet connection.
Kay Purcell talked about a new 12/7 elder abuse number which is 1-800-922-2275.
Pittsfield Suns won 12 -11 in the bottom of the 9th at the ball park July 16th.
A life time pass for seniors (62 years or disabled) for the national parks is increasing from $10. to $ 80. after August 28th. A pass can be obtained on line or by mail which must be postmarked by August 27th.
Events
Chesterwood tour is scheduled for Wednesday, September 6th. A van would cost $150. plus $5. each.
We’re hoping for a trip to the Scallop Festival on Cape Cod next September.
We’ll explore getting films for showing at the community center.
